Hard drive backup logs
- Logging a drive backup now offers an Undo snackbar for about four seconds, extended when required by Android accessibility settings. Undo removes only that newly logged entry and leaves other records intact.
- Expand History to see the three latest logged dates, with View all for the complete list. Edit a recorded date using the calendar, or delete an individual entry after confirmation. Last backup reflects the newest backup date, not the order entries were added or edited.
- All logged history is retained, not just the three preview entries, and is included in manual and automatic complete LifeCycle backups/restores as well as drive data exports. The date already saved for an older drive becomes its initial history entry; previously overwritten dates cannot be recovered.
- These controls affect the backup log only. They do not perform a hard drive backup or delete any backup files. Deleting a drive removes its associated log history after confirmation.
Update notes
- The compact in-app What's New popup highlights 2.6, with previous 2.5 highlights shown when relevant to the upgrade. The 2.5 Home alert improvements remain documented separately below.
